461 A Post World War II Collection of Coins (approx
500), including all denominations from Pfennig
to 5-Marks except the 2-Marks, and includes one
10-Marks, the coins mostly date from 1948 in the
case of the Pfennigs and 1949-1950 for all other
denominations, but also includes a few earlier
pieces. Conditions vary from average circulated to
extremely fine or better for the later issues, an interesting
lot especially for the date/mintmark collector with many
scarce and rare issues. (lot) £250-300

Generally fair, one or two better, most damaged and one

468 Constantine II (1964-1973), Silver 100-Drachmai
(2), 50-Drachmai (2), 1970 (but dated 1967),
commemorating the so called “Colonel’s coup” of
21 April 1967 (KM 94, 93). One 50-Drachmai toned,
otherwise all uncirculated and scare. (4) £200-250

(KM 15), ½-Drachma (2), 1833, 1834A (KM 19).
1833A Drachma fine and scarce, the others better.

(15) and 1-Lepton (13), including almost all dates
with the exception of the very rare key varieties
such as the 1836 5-Lepta and 1834 1-Lepton. A few
damaged and only fair but many dates and denominations
in fine condition, with the odd piece better, many rare, a

the 50 th Anniversary of the Bank of
Greece, and 1988, commemorating the 28 th Chess
Olympics (KM 121, 152), with Proof 1-Drachma,
2-Drachmai, 5-Drachmai and 10-Drachmai, 1965
(KM 81-84). First two in sealed plastic as issued, all
