Mahonri Mackintosh Young (1877-1957), sculptor and grandson<br />
of Brigham Young. This medal grew out of sketches that the artist<br />
made while watching construction from his studio window.<br />
The goat’s head is the crest of some branches of the Brook[e]<br />
family and, no doubt, also the Brock’s.<br />
