Dear Parishioners,
I am pleased to welcome Aileen Budge to the position of Pastoral Assistant to the priests of the parish in a part time capaci ty.
Aileen is already well known to many of you and is very experienced in caring ministry, both inside and outside the parish. Over the
past weeks, Aileen has been working closely with Con O'Connell who was our Pastoral Assistant for the past two years and I am
confident that she will fill the role well. Aileen will be available in the parish centre on Wednesday mornings, or at other times by
contacting the parish office.
The celebration of First Communion last weekend was a truly communal celebration and a source of joy to we priests and for the
large congregations who attended. We can look forward to celebrating the Sacrament of First Communion within the parish Masses
in the future. I would like to thank, once again, Sue Goodwin, our Sacramental Co-ordinator, all the school staff, parish members
and Ministry Co-ordinators who make up the Sacramental Team. - Fr. Sunny
CONFIRMATION – COMMITMENT MASSES
Reminder to all families who wish their child to receive
their Confirmation this year, that they are
required to attend ONE of the below Commitment
Masses at Infant Jesus Parish -
Saturday 2 July at 6.30pm Mass OR
Sunday 3 July at 9.30am Mass OR
Sunday 3 July at 6.00pm Mass
It is a requirement of the Sacramental Programme for all Confirmation
families to attend one of these Masses. Please register your
child’s name on the list before going into your chosen Mass.

Are you new to the Parish?

In a large parish like ours, it can be hard to keep track of people as they
move in and out of our community. If you have joined the parish in the
last 12 months and have not yet done so, please take a parish membership
form from the foyer of the church, fill it out and return it to us.
You can either hand it to one of the priests, drop it into the collection bag at Mass or
call into the parish centre and hand it in to the office.

support to our Parish community. Our present community life can only
continue through your willingness to help.

available in the foyer after all Masses this weekend.

This Sunday is especially dedicated by the Bishops of
Australia to honour and pray for the indigenous people
of our country. Over 150 years ago funds were sourced
from the Society for the Propagation of the Faith
(Catholic Mission) to establish the Church here in Perth in order to carry out missionary
work amongst these people. It is worth remembering that our Archdiocese had
these humble missionary beginnings because of the presence of our Aboriginal brothers
and sisters. The Catholic Mission Office in Perth would like to thank you for your
regular support which sustains & strengthens the missionary presence and pastoral
work of our missionaries amongst impoverished and marginalized indigenous people
both in Australia and throughout the world. Should you be interested and inspired to
explore ways of being missionary within and beyond your parish community or to

HEALING MASSES AUGUST 1ST -21ST
Fr. John Rea has been praying with people for healing since 1974 and
many documented healings have occurred after his prayers.
Healing Masses, services and rallies will be held across suburbs and
towns in W.A. , including Gosnells, Osborne Park, St. Patrick’s Basilica
and culminating with a healing Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral on 18th
August.
