BAPTISM CLASS<br />

The next Baptism Class <strong>will</strong> <strong>be</strong> held Wednesday,<br />

February 6, 2013 at 7:00pm at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Colette</strong>. Diocesan<br />

policy requires attendance at a Baptism Class for parents<br />

who are planning to present their first child for<br />

the Sacrament of Baptism. To register call the Parish<br />

Office at 330-273-5500<br />

Catholic Works of Mercy:<br />

Along with <strong>St</strong>. Ambrose Parish we <strong>will</strong> continue to collect<br />

non-perishable food items, especially on the third weekend<br />

of each month. We are especially in need of peanut<br />

butter, jam, boxed macaroni & cheese, pancake mix &<br />

syrup.<br />

The <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Colette</strong> Care Ministry wants to honor the military<br />

mem<strong>be</strong>rs of our parish who are serving overseas. If you<br />

have a child, gr<strong>and</strong>child or close relative who is currently<br />

overseas we would like to shower him/her with care packages.<br />

PYSANKI CLASS<br />

Have you ever wondered what all the<br />

symbols on pysanki mean, or where<br />

they came from? Have you ever wanted<br />

to know how to make them yourself?<br />

<strong>St</strong>. Emilian <strong>Church</strong>, 1231 Substation<br />

Rd. Brunswick <strong>will</strong> have a Pysanki<br />

class on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 1-5pm. The<br />

class <strong>will</strong> <strong>be</strong> taught by Jeannette Cripps <strong>and</strong> <strong>will</strong> include<br />

the history <strong>and</strong> symbolism of pysanki as well as<br />

how to make them. Rusyn <strong>and</strong> Ukrainian styles <strong>will</strong><br />

<strong>be</strong> discussed <strong>and</strong> demonstrated. Participants <strong>will</strong> have<br />

the opportunity to make pysanki <strong>and</strong> <strong>will</strong> also receive<br />

materials to make them at home. Cost of the class is<br />
