Start shooting.<br />

• The shooting method varies depending on the setting of<br />

single-frame or sequential shooting. g “Sequential<br />

shooting” (P. 43)<br />

Single-frame shooting<br />

Each time the shutter button is pressed fully, a picture is<br />

taken at a different exposure.<br />

• The setting for the next shot is displayed in the viewfinder.<br />

Sequential shooting<br />

Hold down the shutter button until the selected number of<br />

frames are taken. The camera shoots each frame at a different exposure.<br />

• Releasing the shutter button stops auto bracketing shooting. When it stops, [BKT] on the control<br />

panel is displayed in blue.<br />

How AE bracketing compensates exposure in each exposure mode<br />

Depending on the selected exposure mode, exposure is compensated in the following way:<br />

P mode : Aperture value and shutter speed<br />

A mode : Shutter speed<br />

S mode : Aperture value<br />

M mode : Shutter speed<br />

To apply AE bracketing to the exposure value you have compensated:<br />

Compensate the exposure value, then use the AE bracketing feature. AE bracketing is applied to<br />

the exposure value you have compensated.<br />

x Notes<br />

• During sequential shooting, if the battery check blinks due to low battery, the camera stops<br />

shooting and starts saving the pictures you have taken on the card. The camera may not save<br />

all of the pictures depending on how much battery power remains.<br />
