MISSIONARY NATION<br />
Gideon's army were crazy. 300 against the Midianite hordes - utterly bonkers.<br />
Stand on the top of a hill with a torch, clay jar and a trumpet - obviously deranged.<br />
How can the Lord be reactivating a missionary nation when the odds are so clearly<br />
stacked against us. When the church is in such massive decline? When the society<br />
is rapidly abandoning our Christian heritage? When all the indications are that the<br />
church in Scotland is to shut up shop and give up? The answer is that in this time<br />
the Lord God Almighty is raising up a new Gideon's army. Those who have the<br />
eyes of faith; those who have courage and passion for the Lord; those who are<br />
willing to launch out into impossible ventures because our God is a God who<br />
does impossible things.<br />
It is time for a new army like Gideon's to arise again in Scotland. Our hope and<br />
prayer is that this conference will become a rallying point for such a group. We<br />
pray that this time together will be catalytic for you as you imagine a future<br />
transformed by our amazing God!<br />

Practicalities<br />

questions relating to the programme or the vision of <strong>Forge</strong>.<br />
Refreshments and lunches will be served in the Church.<br />
