Helen Brough
Seminar speaker
Mark Stirling
Seminar speaker
When we are aware of the missional opportunities and challenge before us but also of many church
communities struggling to engage effectively, we are faced with questions of how to see change and
transition. Come hear a story of how a traditional church was enabled to transition to one which is fully
engaged in its community.
Helen is on the Forge Scotland leadership team and is based in Dundee where she is developing Lattice
– a missional networked community reaching women on the margins. Helen has also been facilitating a
network of missional pioneers and church planters from those who've completed the Invest Course.
Mark Stirling leads Cornerstone St Andrews, a new church committed to equipping God's people to live
and speak the Good News in every sphere of life. Mark also works with the Navigators and leads the
European Leadership Forum Disciple-making Leaders Network.
21st century.
Broken
(Helen Brough & Shona Stirling|
Friday | 2pm | Blythswood)
What does discipleship look like with those on the margins of society, whose lives are so full of potential
but as yet blighted by circumstance, illness and wounds from the past? Helen Brough and Shona Stirling
share principles and practice from living alongside, working with and learning from those on the
margins.
