A NOTE FROM OUR
EDITOR
MD’s FOREWARD
As 2013 draws to a close, let us thank the
Almighty God for having kept us well and
enabled us to get this far. Our maiden issue
was a success and we thank all our readers
for the continued support, we are excited to
be releasing our second issue during this
festive season as we all share in celebrating
our achievements and reminiscing on the
2013 memories.
As a business, the year has not been without
its “rollercoaster moments” including,
economic strains, increased competition etc.
but through it all, our position in the industry
is much firmer, confidence in our strategy
is much stronger and our optimism for the
future is much brighter.
The year we marked five years since we
started our operations in Rwanda. We
attribute our success to our wonderful
staff and supportive customers who have
believed in us and continued to enjoy our
products and services. Here is to many more
years to come.
Finally, as we get into the festive season, I
am pleased to convey my warm greetings
and best wishes. I urge you to use the
occasion to enjoy and share with the less
fortunate, your families and friends within
reasonable bounds.

If you were to ask me what
my favorite time of the year
is, my immediate answer
without a doubt would be
Christmas time and followed
closely by my birthday. Well
my birthday month is a topic
for another day.
The laughter, joy, arguments and love that
come about when a family comes together
during Christmas season cannot be traded
for anything else in the world. Members of
the gamily come from different parts of the
country and from all over world to spend
quality time with their loved ones.
It’s a period when gifts are exchanged,
selflessness is expressed, and it’s indeed a
season to be jolly
For this issue we take you on journey of
exciting stories. We integrate an African
cuisine and the western cuisine to make up
an exciting Christmas menu that will leave
every member of the family with a smile on
their faces.
We also cover a heartwarming story about
a family separated for nineteen years and
they finally get to enjoy Christmas together
this year after that long period of separation.
Come with us on a journey as we explore
South Africa one of the leading tourism
destinations in the world.
The festive season brings along many events
that we have to dress up for; therefore
the fashion section will cater for that with
an array of flamboyantly colored outfit’s
suggestions for both men and women.
A individuals also tend to binge eat, having
that in mind our health and fitness sections
offers us guidance on how to keep off the
extra calories as well as shedding them off
as we go on with the holiday festivities.
Schools are closed and we have to keep the
little ones busy, this issue has recommended
children’s movies that the whole family
can enjoy together. A coloring section and
a children’s book review section for its
important that we intellectually engage the
children at all times and this includes the
school holidays.
