Esther Corran married Wesley Lewin on the 24th of August, 1913, at Braddan.

13.1 William Corran
13.1.1 William Corran was born 1796–1800. A carpenter, he married Catherine (corran)
circa 1828. In 1841 he and his family were living at Corrans Court, Douglas. (Ran
south from John Street on the site of the present Town Hall. All the property was
owned by Thomas Corran.) The family have not been identified in the 1851 or 1861
census.
13.1.1.1 Catherine (corran) was born 1791-1795. She married William Corran circa
1828.

13.2.1 Mary Corran was born in 1828. In 1841 she was living with her parents at
Corrans Court, Douglas.
13.2.2 Paul Corran was born in 1830. According to the IGI he married Catherine
Joughin in December of 1877 at Braddan. It is possible that the year should be 1873.
The original has not been searched. He was buried on the 23rd of November, 1902,
at Braddan when his age was recorded as 71 years.

In 1841 he was living with his parents at Corrans Court, Douglas. He has not been
identified in the census of 1851–71. In 1881 the family (Currin) were living at 17,
James Street, where Paul was employed as a porter. In 1891 the family were
occupying 2 rooms at 6, Church Street, Douglas, where Paul was employed as a
steam boat porter.
13.2.2.1 Catherine Joughin was born circa 1843 at Jurby.
13.2.3 Catherine Corran was born in 1831. In 1841 she was living with her parents at
Corrans Court, Douglas.
13.2.4 Matthew Corran was born in 1835. In 1841 he was living with his parents at
Corrans Court, Douglas.
13.2.5 Robert Corran was born in 1838. In 1841 he was living with his parents at
Corrans Court, Douglas.
13.2.6 George Corran was born in 1840. In 1841 he was living with his parents at
Corrans Court, Douglas.

13.3.1 Paul Corran was born in 1874 at Douglas. In 1881 he was living with his parents
at 17, James Street. In 1891 he was living with his parents at 6, Church Street,
Douglas, and employed as a steam boat porter. In 1901 he was living with his
parents at 23, Barrack Street, and employed as a dock porter. He was buried at
Braddan on the the 10th of April, 1931, when his age was recorded as 58 years.
13.3.2 Mary Corran was born on the 15th of May, 1879, at Douglas. In 1881 she was
living with her parents at 17, James Street. In 1891 she was living with her parents
at 6, Church Street, Douglas. In 1901 she was living with her parents at 23, Barrack
Street.
13.3.3 Esther Corran (602) was born on the 5th of July, 1887, at Douglas. She married
James Wesley Lewin on the 24th of August, 1913, at Braddan. She was buried at
Braddan on the 2nd of April, 1960, when her age was recorded as 72 years. See 16.18
for details of her descendants.
In 1891 she was living with her father at 6, Church Street, Douglas. In 1901 she was
living with her parents at 23, Barrack Street.
