SUNAN OF SALAAH<br />
1. Sunnats of Takbeer-e-Tahreema<br />
1.1. When saying the takbeer-e-tahreema, first<br />
.ا َالله ُ ا َك ْبر raise the h<strong>and</strong>s up<strong>to</strong> the ears then say<br />
1.2. The palms should face the qiblah with the<br />
fingers pointing <strong>to</strong>wards the sky.<br />
1.3. At the time of takbeer, leave the fingers in<br />
their natural position, i.e. neither kept tightly<br />
<strong>to</strong>gether nor spread widely apart.<br />
1.4. When saying Takbeer-e-Tahreema, females<br />
should raise their h<strong>and</strong>s up <strong>to</strong> their shoulders<br />
without exposing their h<strong>and</strong>s, i.e. the h<strong>and</strong>s<br />
should remain beneath the Burqa.<br />
1.5. Do not move (raise or lower) the head when<br />
saying the takbeer. The back should also be<br />
kept upright.<br />
1.6. The Muqtadi should raise his h<strong>and</strong>s for<br />
takbeer-e-tahreema at the same time as the<br />
Imaam.<br />
1.7. Raise your h<strong>and</strong>s up<strong>to</strong> the ears <strong>and</strong><br />
simultaneously whilst dropping your h<strong>and</strong>s say<br />
ا َالله ُ ا َك ْبر <strong>and</strong> fold the h<strong>and</strong>s. (St<strong>and</strong>ing posture).
