2. Achieve insurance quota:<br />
a. Quota for councils with 100 members or fewer will be<br />
an increase <strong>of</strong> 3 insurance additions over deductions<br />
based on total active membership <strong>of</strong> the council as <strong>of</strong><br />
July 1. Quota for councils with 101 or more members<br />
will be a 2.5% increase <strong>of</strong> insurance additions over<br />
deductions based on the total active membership <strong>of</strong><br />
the council as <strong>of</strong> July 1. Minimum <strong>of</strong> 30 members<br />
required for awards qualification. (Inactive insurance<br />
members are not included when computing the July 1<br />
quota at the <strong>Supreme</strong> <strong>Council</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice.)<br />
b. Additions will be credited for new insurance members,<br />
insurance reinstatements, reactivations, readmissions<br />
and reapplications, juvenile to adult insurance memberships,<br />
and associate to insurance transfers processed<br />
and recorded at the <strong>Supreme</strong> <strong>Council</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice between<br />
July 1 and June 30.<br />
c. Deductions to be charged against the quota include all<br />
insurance suspensions and withdrawals and transfers<br />
from insurance to associate membership processed<br />
and recorded at the <strong>Supreme</strong> <strong>Council</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice between<br />
July 1 and June 30.<br />
d. Net gain or loss to be affected only by items (b) and (c)<br />
in this section. Transfers in or out <strong>of</strong> the council and<br />
deaths will not count toward or against the quota.<br />
(Monthly reports reflecting insurance gains and losses<br />
will be supplied to each grand knight, financial secretary<br />
and council membership director.)<br />
(Note: New councils must meet the required insurance member<br />
quota. New council quota is based upon the number <strong>of</strong><br />
members recorded on the Notice <strong>of</strong> Institution, minimum 30<br />
members required.)
