Reception <strong>and</strong> access to the industrial<br />

Responsibility<br />

The participant acknowledges that he/she has<br />

no right to lodge damage claims against the<br />

organisers should the holding <strong>of</strong> the congress<br />

be hindered or prevented by unexpected<br />

political or economic events or generally by<br />

force majeure, or should the non-appearance<br />

<strong>of</strong> speakers or other reasons necessitate<br />

programme changes. With registration, the<br />

participant accepts this proviso.<br />

Shopping<br />

Like other large towns, Prague is a marvellous<br />

shopping city! The leading souvenir is un -<br />

doubtedly traditional Czech cut glass <strong>and</strong><br />

crystal. Prikopy or Wenceslas Square are lined<br />

with enticing shop windows, whereas the<br />

Old Town’s little winding streets will surprise<br />

you with a selection <strong>of</strong> antique shops full <strong>of</strong><br />

unique relics <strong>of</strong> the past.<br />

Travel within Prague<br />

From May 1–4, all participants will be able<br />

to use the Prague metro free <strong>of</strong> charge<br />

by showing their congress badge.<br />

The Prague <strong>Congress</strong> Centre (PCC) has it's<br />

own metro station (“Vysehrad”, line C) <strong>and</strong><br />

is located three stops south <strong>of</strong> downtown<br />

Prague. AAA Taxi provide excellent taxi<br />

service within Prague (phone no. 233113311).<br />
