Hradčany <strong>and</strong> Prague Castle<br />

Enjoy some magnificent views <strong>of</strong> Prague<br />

as the castle area is situated well above the<br />

city centre. Bohemian history will attract you<br />

on each corner. You will visit the Strahov<br />

Monastery, Loretta, Golden Lane <strong>and</strong> finally<br />

Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral. Prague<br />

castle was established in the 9 th century.<br />

In the 14 th century, under the reign <strong>of</strong><br />

Charles IV, it was rebuilt in the gothic style.<br />

The final reconstruction <strong>of</strong> the Royal Palace<br />

took place under the Jagellons at the end <strong>of</strong><br />

the 15 th century. The castle was enlarged<br />

in the 16 th century, especially after a big fire<br />

in 1541. Our tour will end at Prague castle<br />

gardens.<br />
