THE STORE MANAGERS AND THEIR HIRED MUSCLE
The store managers manage the businesses throughout the city. They are the
ones you either extort for 25%, or offer a single payment to get in on half of
the action. However, store managers have their own protection and may
choose to turn you down and have their hired muscle try to take you out.
Store managers hire either security guards or some hoodlum types to
protect their businesses. Security guards usually work in the high-end
businesses such as jewelers and banks, whereas hoodlums protect smaller
businesses such as restaurants and garages.
