1959 Monsanto <strong>Electronic</strong> <strong>Materials</strong> Company (<strong>MEMC</strong>) formed<br />
1962 CZ silicon crystal process developed<br />
1965 <strong>MEMC</strong> develops polishing process for silicon wafers<br />
1966 First epi reactors installed at <strong>MEMC</strong><br />
