Santa Rosa International Film Festival<br />

The 25th <strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Film Festival – <strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Country</strong>'s original<br />

film festival – is now presenting the Santa Rosa International Film<br />

Festival (SRIFF), September14-20. <strong>This</strong> week-long celebration of<br />

cinema, the arts and cultural exchange will feature more than 100<br />

films from around the world at Summerfield and 3rd Street Cinemas<br />

and The Roxy 14 in Santa Rosa. The festival Hospitality Lounge<br />

located at #1 Santa Rosa Avenue in downtown Santa Rosa will host a<br />

Launch Party September 9th from 5 to 8 p.m., intimate receptions,<br />

master classes, an art exhibit, sponsors’ booths and happy hours.<br />

Additional films will be screened at Deerfield Ranch <strong>Wine</strong>ry in<br />

Kenwood, Sonoma Valley, both outdoors under the stars and in the<br />

events and live musical performances.<br />

Three Santa Rosa host hotels – The Hilton, Courtyard Marriott<br />

and the Flamingo Resort – are offering special rates packages. Contact<br />

each hotel for specifics. SRIFF offers six levels of passes, some of<br />

which include entry to culinary events, special screenings, master<br />

classes and VIP receptions with filmmakers and celebrities. The Local<br />

Pass (for Kenwood, Oakmont, Glen Ellen, Sonoma and Santa Rosa<br />

residents) and Festival Pass Plus (reserved seat – slide past the velvet<br />

rope!) are the event’s most popular passes. Festival goers can also<br />

purchase tickets for each film on line or at the door.<br />
