This service is available to anyone who feels they
may need some support; bereaved, divorce, mental
ill health etc.
What can it offer?
• One to one befriending in the community.
• In house counselling service.
• Social groups with a safe and
welcoming environment.
• Supper Club.
• Walk group.
• Members Newsletter.
• Volunteering opportunities with
training and expenses paid.

Who is the service for?
Adults aged 18—65 who are experiencing mental
health problems and/or emotional distress.
What can it offer?
Anchor offers a wide range of holistic support
including social times, stress management,
assertiveness training, complementary therapies,
arts and crafts, parenting skills and self-esteem.
We have an excellent self-help library.
