Who is the service for?<br />

The Club is a social club for people with mental<br />

health problems who live in the Kerrier District.<br />

The Club is only open to people who have mental<br />

health problems so if a member of your family or a<br />

friend has a mental health problem they will be able<br />

to register as a member.<br />

The Club is an adult service, which means that all<br />

members must at least be 18 years old.<br />

What can it offer?<br />

The Club offers support and social contact with<br />

other people who have similar experiences.<br />

Members can meet each other over a cup of tea<br />

or coffee, have a snack or play board games.<br />

The club is run by volunteers who have mental<br />

health problems themselves.<br />

Bus fares can be refunded if members are in the<br />

club for more than 2 hours and on production of<br />

a valid bus ticket.<br />

You do not need to be<br />

referred by anyone. You can<br />

call in on any Wednesday<br />

between 12 noon and<br />

3pm and talk to one of the<br />

volunteers about the Club<br />

and what it might offer you.<br />

You can then stay for the<br />

rest of the day. If you think<br />

the Club is what you are<br />

looking for, you will need<br />

to register as a member in<br />

order to use the club again<br />

People in the community with or recovering from<br />

mental health issues.<br />

What can it offer?<br />

• One to one befriending in the community.<br />

• Social groups with a safe and<br />

welcoming environment.<br />

• Walk groups in various locations.<br />

• Art & Craft Group and Fairs.<br />

• Lunch & Meal Clubs.<br />

• In-house Counselling Service.<br />

• Social Outings and Fundraising Events.<br />
