Cash Aid or UIB Requirement is Comparable<br />

If the cash aid requirement is comparable to a Food Stamp<br />

WR requirement, the individual (or the entire household if<br />

the non-complying member is the PWR) shall be<br />

disqualified for a 2-month period.<br />

Cash Aid or UIB Requirement is Not Comparable<br />

If the cash aid requirement is not comparable to a Food<br />

Stamp WR requirement, no action is necessary unless UIB<br />

is terminated or a cash aid sanction is imposed. If UIB is<br />

terminated or a cash aid sanction is imposed, the noncomplying<br />

member loses his/her exemption from Food<br />

Stamp WR and must be within 10-calendar days <strong>of</strong> losing<br />

his/her exemption.<br />

Disqualification<br />

When does the EW take action to delete/deny/terminate<br />

after a work registrant fails without good cause to<br />

comply?<br />

When a work registrant has failed without good cause to<br />

comply with any <strong>of</strong> the requirements <strong>of</strong> <strong>FS</strong> <strong>63</strong>-407.4<br />

Compliance With Work Registration Requirements, the<br />

EW must take delete/denial/termination action and apply a<br />

2-month sanction within 10 days <strong>of</strong> determining that the<br />

non-compliance was without good cause.<br />

Date <strong>of</strong> Deletion/Termination/Sanction-Approved Cases<br />

If a household member who is not the PWR fails to comply,<br />

he/she shall be deleted and disqualified for 2 months<br />

beginning the first <strong>of</strong> the month following the 10-day<br />

adverse notice period. Benefits to the remainder <strong>of</strong> the<br />

household shall continue.<br />

If the household’s PWR fails to comply, the entire<br />

household shall be terminated and disqualified for 2 months<br />

beginning the 1 st <strong>of</strong> the month following the 10-day adverse<br />

notice period.<br />

Date <strong>of</strong> Denial/Sanction-Pending Cases<br />

If an individual who is not the PWR fails to comply with a<br />

WR requirement, he/she shall be excluded from the<br />

approval and disqualified for 2 months beginning the 1 st <strong>of</strong><br />

the month following the 10-day adverse action period. The<br />

remainder <strong>of</strong> the household shall complete the application<br />

process.<br />

If the household’s PWR fails to comply, the entire<br />

household shall be denied effective the date <strong>of</strong> application<br />

and disqualified for 2 months beginning the 1 st <strong>of</strong> the month<br />

following the 10-day adverse action period.<br />
