Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation<br />
youth education. Bonnie is currently the Youth Education<br />
Chair <strong>of</strong> the Goderich Legion Branch #109 and surrounding<br />
Zone C1 (including Kincardine, Mitchell and Wingham,<br />
Ontario). Ms. LaFontaine was also a municipal Councilor<br />
with the former Township <strong>of</strong> Colborne.<br />

Stephanie Donaldson - Director<br />
Stephanie is a community activist and environmentalist from<br />
the Grand Bend area. Stephanie has a great interest in<br />
coastal wetland and dune protection, and in community<br />
education about coastal environmental issues. She has been<br />
instrumental in securing sensitive lands for protection in the<br />
Port Franks area <strong>of</strong> Lake Huron.<br />

Doug Freiburger - Director<br />
Doug lives in the community <strong>of</strong> Port Elgin in the Town <strong>of</strong><br />
Saugeen <strong>Shores</strong>. Doug owns and operates Groundhog<br />
Divers in Port Elgin. He is the past Deputy Mayor <strong>of</strong><br />
Saugeen <strong>Shores</strong>, and past Chair <strong>of</strong> Saugeen Conservation.<br />
He currently is a board member <strong>of</strong> the RTO7 Regional<br />
Tourism Organization. Doug has had a long standing interest<br />
in conservation issues in the Bruce-Grey region and Lake<br />
Huron.<br />

Gordon Boyd - Director<br />
Gordon is a resident <strong>of</strong> Southampton and active with the<br />
Southampton Residents Association, the Town <strong>of</strong> Saugeen<br />
<strong>Shores</strong> Parks and Trails Committee, Marine Heritage and<br />
Naturalists Clubs. Gordon has a strong interest in beach<br />
conservation initiatives, and involving youth in learning about<br />
coastal stewardship. Mr. Boyd is a graduate <strong>of</strong> the University<br />
<strong>of</strong> Waterloo and spent a working career in business where<br />
he lived in parts <strong>of</strong> Asia and the Middle East.<br />

Dianne Sutter - Director<br />
Dianne,the past Chair <strong>of</strong> Friends <strong>of</strong> Sauble Beach, continues<br />
as a member <strong>of</strong> this community based organization with an<br />
interest in dune conservation. Dianne is a graduate in<br />
Geography from McMaster University and has worked in the<br />
