Doing Our Part at Mission College Founded in 1975, Mission College is the youngest of the nine colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District. We offer accessible, affordable and high quality education in a culturally and intellectually supportive environment across our 32 acre campus in Sylmar, California. Our campus is undergoing a transformation. Student enrollment is expected to continue to increase through 2015 to near 15,000 students from our current 11,500 students. To accommodate this growth we will be expanding to a total of 555,000 square feet of instructional and support facilities on the Main Campus and our new East Campus.
