Future production

Complex project in Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul,
Odebrecht Energia sold future energy production
from four wind farms at the Federal Reserve Auction
held on August 18, 2011. These farms include
Corredor dos Senandes 2, 3 and 4 and the Vento
Aragano 1. At the auction, Odebrecht sold 50.5
megawatts (MW) average at a rate of BRL 99.50 per
MWh (megawatt/hour). To do so, it will have to install
116.9 MW of total capacity in wind farms. The
contract signed with the CCEE (Chamber of Electric
Energy Sales) is for 20 years. The wind farms
will be established as of June 2012. Initial generation
is expected to begin by June 2014.
