EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (EMSA)<br />

EMSA responded <strong>to</strong> 1,461 different calls and transported 961 homeless clients 1,203 times,<br />

which means that 82 percent <strong>of</strong> EMSA calls resulted <strong>in</strong> the patient be<strong>in</strong>g transported <strong>to</strong> a<br />

hospital.<br />

OKC Fire<br />

OKC Fire responded <strong>to</strong> 1,708 calls <strong>in</strong>volv<strong>in</strong>g homeless <strong>in</strong>dividuals. <strong>The</strong>re were 841 EMS<br />

rescue calls for a cost <strong>of</strong> $118,262. Fifty‐seven false calls cost $7,349; 315 “good <strong>in</strong>tent”<br />

calls cost $41,003; and 461 general service calls cost $62,992.<br />
