BIG fun for your little ones! Each day is filled with gross
motor movement, crafts, music stories and art projects
centered around the daily theme.

Barnstormers
July 8th – 27th, 4-6pm, M-F ages 13 -18, performances July
26 and 27. This camp-style session is for youth to write, produce,
and direct their own play centered on the theme of
Community.
Broadway at the Barn
July 29 – August 17, 9:30 -12pm M-F ages 7 – 13, Performances:
August 16 &17. Take your star from singing in the
shower to center stage with our three week children’s
musical camp. Participants will learn about the different
aspects of writing, directing, and participating in an original
theater production.
Festival Theater Summer 2013 Creativity
Camp
Open to students ages 5-12 . Campers bring lunch and
snacks, sharing for parents & friends, Fridays at 2:00pm.
Fee: $85 per week, all supplies included. Dates and locations:
St. Croix Falls Elementary School July 22 - 26 Monday-
Friday, 8:30 - 3:30, St. Croix Falls Elementary School August
12 - 16 Monday-Friday, 8:30 - 3:30. Five full days of fresh air
and sunshine, brushes, paint, paper, glue, a pile of great
stories, music, games, silliness, a bag of props, friends,
laughing, and a whole lot of ideas! Join us this summer

Osceola Community Ed Driver’s
Education
We are still accepting registrations Summer Driver’s Ed.
June 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27. 7am and
10am classes are available. Pre-registration is required.
Payment must accompany registration to be considered.
Students must be 15 by the first day of class to enroll. A
letter will be sent to enrolled participants after receiving
registration and payment. You will be notified if class is
filled and student is not able to enroll. Classes will be held
at Osceola high School in Room 110. A birth certificate will
be required for the 1st day of class. Pick up your registration
at the Osceola High School Office or online at www.
osceola.k12.wi.us , click on Community Ed and then click
Driver’s Ed.

S.T.E.P. (Senior Tax Exchange Program)
Osceola Elementary and Osceola Intermediate Schools
are now offering S.T.E.P. (Senior Tax Exchange Program).
Are you 62 or older, reside in the Osceola School District
and are interested in volunteering with students and
staff? You may be eligible to receive a tax credit of up to
$500 per household in exchange for your volunteer hours.

Instructor: Becky Peterson
Brush up on the basic skills that you need to continue your
education or to enter the workforce with confidence:
reading, English, grammar, science, social studies, and
math. These classes are also for those preparing to earn
their GED/HSED and are self-paced with instructor assistance.
You can enroll any time. Please register by calling
Polk County Job Center at 715-485-3115. Classes held at
Polk County Job Center in Balsam Lake.
Osceola Chieftain Volleyball Summer Camp
August 6-8th Osceola High School Gym
For Girls Entering Grades 4th –8th (2013-2014 school year)
Session I:
Girls entering 4th – 6th Grade
9-11am OHS Gym - $35
Session II:
Girls entering 7th & 8th Grade
12:00-2:00 OHS Gym - $35
The camp is designed to introduce beginning and intermediate
players to the sport of volleyball. Each athlete
will receive teaching on individual skills, specialty positions,
and game concepts. This camp has a low player/coach
ratio for more individualized instruction.
Camp Director / Varsity Coach, Holly Huppert is in her 2nd
year at Osceola High School. Coach Huppert has been
the 9th grade coach at River Falls High School for the
last 5 years and has spent time coaching Junior Olympic
teams during the winter seasons. Coach Huppert will bring
a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the camp experience.

WITC Classes
Save the dates! Sept.-Oct.Driver’s Ed dates have been set
Sept. 10, 11, 12 16, 18, 19, 23, 24, 26, 30, Oct. 1, 2. These
dates will conflict with sports practices and games. There
is no break between sports seasons to get an entire class
