MOPS is a place that understands moms – <strong>the</strong>ir unique<br />

needs, challenges, and joys – in this vital season <strong>of</strong> early<br />

mo<strong>the</strong>ring! Every mom, who is pregnant or has kids ages<br />

ranging from birth to fi ve, is welcomed, accepted and<br />

challenged to meet her potential and to recognize her<br />

infl uence, with her family and her world. SCV MOPS also a<br />

MOPSNext group, which reaches moms with school-aged<br />

Moms In Prayer meet from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Creative<br />

Outburst Studio, 210 Cascade St. <strong>Osceola</strong>. Moms In Prayer<br />

is an interdenominational, ministry <strong>of</strong> moms who ga<strong>the</strong>r to<br />

Plays, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Open Registration<br />

and Good Sportsmanship. The local organization runs<br />

soccer in spring and fall and practices on <strong>the</strong> fi elds behind<br />

River Valley Swim Club<br />

River Valley Swim Club is <strong>the</strong> regional swim team especially<br />

designed for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Osceola</strong> community and surrounding areas.<br />

We practice only in <strong>Osceola</strong>, at <strong>the</strong> <strong>Osceola</strong> Middle<br />

<strong>School</strong>, and accept swimmers age 5 – 18. River Valley<br />

Swim Club is certifi ed with USA Swimming (USASwimming.<br />

org) and will be competing in <strong>the</strong> requisite meets to bring<br />

<strong>the</strong> young swimmer to a nationally competitive level. For<br />

some athletes, <strong>the</strong>ir focus is just becoming strong, developing<br />

lifelong swimming skills, and be able to demonstrate<br />

a superior ability to swim <strong>the</strong> 4 major strokes: freestyle, butterfl<br />

y, breaststroke, and backstroke. It is not a requirement<br />

that <strong>the</strong> athlete participate in swim meets. Contact us with<br />

The cost is very low - only $26.00 annual dues and $4.00<br />

monthly chapter dues. Meetings in <strong>Osceola</strong> are every<br />

Wednesday morning at Trinity Lu<strong>the</strong>ran Church, 300<br />

Seminole Avenue. Private weigh-ins are from 7:00 - 8:30<br />

(RVSC) is a regional organization serving youth ages 5 - 19<br />

in <strong>the</strong> St. Croix Valley. RVSC is part <strong>of</strong> a national soccer organization,<br />

AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization).<br />

Both RVSC and AYSO are committed to <strong>the</strong> development<br />
