Bodacious Food Co. names
Bryan Myers as Director of Sales
The Bodacious Food Company is pleased to announce
that Bryan Myers has joined the company as Director of
Sales. A lifetime member of the packaged goods industry,
over the past 30 years Bryan has represented companies
including Frito-Lay, Pepsico, Buttercrust Bread, Archway
Cookie and most recently, Bauducco Foods. Bryan will
work with Bodacious Food Company founder Cathy Cunningham
Hays to handle all accounts nationally.
“We are very excited to have Bryan on board with us,
his expertise has already helped us gain distribution in
new areas of the country and new classes of trade. With
Bryan’s help, we expect to continue our double digit
growth and development as a leading manufacturer of
quality, all natural, snack foods,” said Ms. Hays. Bryan
will be based in Jupiter, Florida.
The Bodacious Food Company is the baker of
Geraldine’s ® Cheese Straws and cookies, Jaxn’s Twice-
Baked Potato Stix ® and a new line of Lindsey Lou’s snacks.
The company was founded by Cathy Cunningham Hays
out of her home in 1995 and now supplies a vast range of
retailers out of their baking facility in Jasper, Georgia.
Bill the Butcher Inc. Appoints
McMullen Director of Operations
Bill the Butcher Inc., a Seattle-based retailer of organic
and natural grass-fed meats, has hired Timothy McMullen
as Director of Operations. McMullen brings a lifetime
of work that includes being a partner in multi-unit food
franchise and owner of wholesale food distribution
that serviced produce to wholesale markets and fine
dining establishments.
“I am very excited to join an organization that shares
my values and passions around sustainably raised
foods that helps the collective from the farmer to the
customer,” said McMullen.
McMullen is working with the company to develop
processes and procedures, as well as streamlining
existing ones, to ensure that they are scalable for the
current projected growth strategy. “I wanted to join Bill
the Butcher because I could not believe what they had
accomplished in under two years. With 6 stores already
operating and three more under construction, and a 5,000
square foot commissary, I was impressed with the speed
of growth and believe that my own multi-unit retail food
systems and wholesale food distribution experience could
help the national roll out,” said McMullen.
“Tim has a linear, analytical way of thinking and is
also terrific with people. Our Butchers have welcomed
him as their new boss, and I frankly am thrilled to have
Tim on board to run our operations,” said J’Amy Owens,
Chief Executive Officer.
Stonewall Kitchen COO Lori King joins
Board of Dancing Deer Baking Co.
Massachusetts-based Dancing Deer Baking Company,
a leader in the natural/specialty products industry
and online gift market, and known for innovative and
gourmet quality all-natural brownies, cookies, cakes
and baking mixes, has recently named Lori King, Chief
Operating Officer (COO) of Stonewall Kitchen, to its
Board of Directors.
