2.1 Overview of operations
The Commission has an integrated approach to planning and performance that
provides links between legislation, policy, the Commission’s Strategic Plan, State
Government priorities and the Commission’s operational plans.
The Commission is allocated funding to provide services in five key areas to enhance
the environment and wellbeing of people with disability and their carers by the
provision of necessary supports and services. The Commission’s performance
and achievements for each service area are reported in Chapter 2.2 of this report.
Performance measures for auditing purposes are reported in Chapter 4.2.
