Looking forward: objectives for 2012–2013<br />
In 2012–2013, the <strong>Commission</strong> will:<br />
• complete and disseminate the Sector Development Plan<br />
• review and further develop the Ambassadors program including the appointment <strong>of</strong> up<br />
to six regional Ambassadors<br />
• implement the <strong>Disability</strong> Employment Strategy across state government, local<br />
government and the private sector to increase opportunities for people with disability<br />
to access meaningful employment<br />
• continue to develop and expand the Liveable Homes initiative<br />
• continue to work with key stakeholders in culture and arts to promote and develop<br />
opportunities for inclusion <strong>of</strong> people with disability in arts and cultural experiences<br />
• work with 20 local governments to evaluate and support implementation <strong>of</strong> inclusion<br />
initiatives funded by the <strong>Commission</strong> for people with disability<br />
• work with key stakeholders to implement recommendations from the <strong>Disability</strong> Sport<br />
and Recreation Review around inclusion<br />
• review progress <strong>of</strong> the Count Me In long-term plan for people with disability and<br />
develop new strategies to further promote and engage West <strong>Australia</strong>ns.<br />
