The Consultant must possess the expertise and skills required to conduct topographical
studies, geotechnical analyses, socio-economic analyses, environmental analyses,
civil/structural analyses and design. The Consultant must possess the expertise and skills
to create, edit, format and update technical documents, in Standard English, in a concise
and clear manner.
Team Leader
Education:
The Team Leader shall have at least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an
engineering or related field.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience working in the renewable energy sector, of which
at least 5 years spent in the field of hydropower energy.
Thorough knowledge of project management best practices related to small
hydropower feasibility studies.
Experience with private sector developers, preferably in the field of renewable
energy.
Hydrology Specialist
Education:
The Hydrology Specialist shall have at least a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in
hydrology or related field.
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience working in the field of hydrology.
Thorough knowledge of industry best practices related to the analysis of
hydrological data and the development of hydrological models of flows.
