Short description of the investigation area 10 Flambro (from Workshop 2010):
This FFH-Area is shaped by calcareous fens, which are fed by rain and spring water that
comes out at the surface. There are a lot of endemic species settled at this location. This
is an important sign for a long consistency of the site. Grasses are the dominating species
for those low moors. The Life-Project established several hiking tracks in this relict
location.
