Siófok
In every country, there is a town close to water, which collects the young folks, to help them
forget the monotonicity of the everydays. In Hungary this place is called Siófok. During the
day you can enjoy the water and the refreshing wind of the Balaton, but at night our way
leads out of the rooms, because the city starts to breathe after the sunset. Its long streets
full with bars and clubs help you to don’t worry about tomorrow.
receiving the title major renewal started in the city. Renewed public places, streets, squares
and neighbourhoods, new cultural centres, a concert hall, a new library and a cultural
quarter were designed. It was recently chosen by The New York Times as the 38th place to
visit in 2013 thanks to its lively atmosphere and modernity. Pécs is also a real university
city hosting the oldest university in Hungary with its 30,000 students.
summer heat.
