Event description
Welcome to the city of tolerance! This year, the city that is known for it's acceptability on
drugs, gay acceptability, gender and race wants to challenge you!
AEGEE-Amsterdam will challenge you to become more daring, more adventurous and
more open-minded! A programme that will be filled with games that keep you on your toes
and that will challenge the competitive spirit within you. We will spend a couple of days on a
farm outside the city centre. We won't travel by bus or by train... no, we will travel like the
brave and adventurous minds do: we will hitchhike! We will get down with nature and
challenge ourselves outdoors.
We will discuss, debate and experience the tolerance Amsterdam is known for. In specific
we will focus on gay rights and acceptability. Even in the 'gay capitol of the world' there are
issues to be discussed. Share with us the gay rights and tolerence of your own city. The
highlight of the week will be the huge festivities on August 4th when the Gay Canal Parade
2013 will take place. The city will be pink, proud and turned upside down!
