Please pick up your letter in the
back of church and prayerfully
consider what new habit of prayer
you will adopt. You will not regret increasing
your prayer life; expanding your prayer
life will change your life for the better.
Suggestions are listed on the back of the
prayer card, but by no means are you
limited to these suggestions. You could
spend a few minutes each day meditating on
God the Father’s love, Jesus Christ’s love, or
the Holy Spirit’s love for you. You could
also take a few minutes each day thanking
our Father for the many blessings in your
life.

Scotch Tape!
As I was reading the Bible I
tore the page I was reading.
Thank goodness I have a roll of
scotch tape. I was able to tape
the page I tore. Granted, the
taped page will not be as good as it was
before it was torn, but it will suffice.
As I look about my home and office, I
notice that I have used scotch tape a number
of times to fix things I have torn or broken. I
have noticed something else about the scotch
tape, it only last for awhile before it starts to
discolor and lose its holding power.
It seems to me that everything man has
created only lasts for awhile and then it starts
to fail. It’s not that way with God’s scotch
tape (His love). His scotch tape (love) never
fails. It can mend anything - broken hearts,
broken relationships, sadness, loneliness. His
scotch tape (love) can fix things such as
rudeness, jealousy, unkindness, etc. The
great thing about God’s scotch tape is that it
never fades or loses it color, it lasts forever.
Do you feel torn? Grab a roll of God's
scotch tape.

MUSICIANS
The 90-member choir
and orchestra of The Young
Catholic Musicians are currently holding
auditions for singers and those who play
instruments. These young people (aged 10-
17) represent over 50 churches and schools
in the St. Louis area. They learn quality
liturgical music and lead the music for Mass
once each month at different parishes. For
example, in September, we will lead the
music for Mass with Archbishop Robert
Carlson at St. Mary Magdalen
(Brentwood). We perform two concerts per
year and have two concert

WOMEN’S MAGNIFICAT PRAYER BREAKFAST
Come fellowship with other ladies of the Archdiocese,
