Regulatory Bylaw 26.1 is amended as follows:
By adding paragraphs (c)(ix) and (c)(x) as follows:

“(ix) “Assisted Reproduction Technology Procedures” mean the following:
(A) controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, other than through the use of clomiphene;
(B) intrauterine insemination;
(C) therapeutic donor insemination;
(D) oocyte retrieval;
(E) in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer;
(F) intracytoplasmic sperm injection;
(G) embryo cryopreservation;
(H) oocyte donation;
(I) gestational surrogacy;
(J) procedures which are necessary for preimplantation genetic diagnosis or screening, including
blastomere and trophectoderm biopsy.
“(x) “Assisted Reproduction Technology Facility” means a facility in which one or more Assisted
Reproduction Technology Procedures are performed”.
By deleting the period and adding a semicolon after the word “Hemodialysis” in paragraph (e)(vi)
and adding paragraph (e)(vii) as follows:
“(vii) one or more Assisted Reproduction Technology Procedures”.
By deleting paragraph (f)(iii)9 and renumbering paragraph (f)(iii)10 as (f)(iii)9.
By adding paragraph (j)(v)12 as follows:
“12 If the facility is an Assisted Reproduction Technology Facility, the facility complies with the standards
established by the College for such facilities”.
By adding paragraph (u.1) after paragraph (u) as follows:
“(u.1) In deciding whether to grant or refuse a Certificate of Approval, if the facility is an Assisted
Reproduction Technology Facility, the Council may consider whether the facility complies with the
standards established by the College for such facilities”.

September 7, 2012.
