The City of Lloydminster Act

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council, orders that:
(a) subject to paragraph (c), effective January 1, 2013;
(i) The Lloydminster Charter attached as Schedule A is enacted as the Charter for the City of
Lloydminster;
(ii) Order in Council 208/79, dated February 13, 1979, as amended, is repealed;
(b) this Order in Council is complementary to an Order in Council of the Lieutenant Governor in Council
of Alberta that enacts The Lloydminster Charter as the Charter for the City of Lloydminster; and
(c) this Order in Council is conditional on the issuance of the complementary Alberta Order in Council
mentioned in paragraph (b).
