825 Capturing Your Minds Eye: Grades 1st - 4th ................................................. Value: Priceless
One full day of capturing what is in your minds eye with your camera. Barbara will provide your
child (grade 1st - 4th) with a camera to use for the day and show your child how to make the
most out of the automatic setting but also allow them to dabble in the manual settings. They will
start at Barbara’s home and wander down to Lakeshore, have lunch, wander back up the hill and
download the photos for editing. When all is done, your child will have a wonderful book sent to
you of their photo adventure and a new working knowledge of how to make the most of photos.

This year, each of the two 7th grade art classes is auctioning off a set of handmade ceramic
nesting bowls. Three of the nesting bowls in each set are in honor of Redwood Day school’s motto:
prepared, engaged and inspired. Hand stamped by the 7th grade class and finished with a creamy
gloss glaze. Use them for salad, chips or an RDS potluck! - lead-free. If you are the high bidder
for either of these sets, you will also receive a “bonus bowl” designed and hand-painted by our
creative 7th graders. These bowls are a must-see in order to appreciate. Slated to be a hot item

Middle School history teacher and general travel/cultural enthusiast, Adele Madelo, will come
to your home and present an evening of international delights including a four course dinner,
wine, and dessert. She will share the culture, history, language and traditions of the country
of your choosing. This culinary tour is ideal for four guests planning a trip abroad or eager to

Join rock and roll legends Jim Rendle and Matthew Krause for a night of jamming on Guitar
Hero. 16 lucky kids will first gather for dinner and then the tour begins. This party takes place
on April 29 at the home of Rich and Wendy Malaspina and is limited to 6th to 8th graders. Drop
