Tamaladas (holiday tamal-making parties) are an ancient Central American tradition that
predates the Spanish conquest, although now associated with any festive holiday occasion. A
tamalada party typically happens in the afternoon in a garden as part of a dia de campo (a day
in the country). The making of tamales is very labor-intensive, the perfect occasion for a party!
Each Guest will go home with a dozen tamales. Date and time: Saturday, April 16th from noon to
