SCREW COMPRESSORS<br />

ESD, ESDI range<br />

Direct drive screw compressors are designed for special requirements during production of compressed air. Due <strong>to</strong> the mo<strong>to</strong>r being directly<br />

connected <strong>to</strong> the screw pair the following features are achieved;<br />

• low noise level<br />

• higher screw block utilization<br />

• low vibrations<br />

• longer life time of the screw block<br />

• lower service costs<br />

For most demanding users of compressed air the best solution is the ESDI range of screw compressors. In these types of compressors we have<br />

direct connection between the mo<strong>to</strong>r and the screw block and a frequency regula<strong>to</strong>r of mo<strong>to</strong>r rotation. This combination of <strong>technical</strong> solutions<br />

is optimal for highly demanding users of compressed air.<br />

Technical features of ESD compressors<br />

• Working pressure 8, 10, or 13 bar<br />

• Power of the mo<strong>to</strong>r from 75 kW up <strong>to</strong> 400 kW (starting from 315 kW water<br />

cooling mo<strong>to</strong>r)<br />

• Compressed air flow from 8.65 up <strong>to</strong> 465.95 m 3 /min<br />

• Working pressure from 5 up <strong>to</strong> 13 bar<br />

• Power of the mo<strong>to</strong>r from 80 up <strong>to</strong> 260 kW<br />

• Compressed air flow from 1.75 up <strong>to</strong> 41.50 m 3 /min<br />

Direct drive<br />

The direct transfer of the power between the mo<strong>to</strong>r and the screw block produces<br />

low vibrations with maximum utilization. This type of design assures longer<br />

useful life with reduced service costs and longer service intervals.<br />

Various types of screw compressors can be used as complete compressed air<br />

stations and fulfill different demands for compressed air. The capacity of the<br />

compressed air station can be modified depending on specific needs for compressed<br />

air and the required quality of air. The components integrated in the<br />
