‘uppers,’ or ‘speed.’ People sometimes take these drugs to lose weight, to stay awake, or for attention deficit
disorders. We are not interested in the use of “over-the-counter” stimulants such as Dexatrim or No-Doz that
can be bought in drug stores or grocery stores without a doctor’s prescription.
