The mosquito’s and black flies are bad. There are bears out, so be careful when hiking on our hiking trails. For more information please feel free to contact any of the interpreters at 306-236- 7617. Park Attractions & Points of Interest: Come check out our visitor centre located at Greig Lake. Our visitor Centre is full of useful information about the park. On July 1 st at M&M resort at Waterhen Lake, there will be a beach volleyball tournament held. It is a 3 on 3 tournament and the registration fee is $35. Fishing has been fair to good in all surrounding lakes Scheduled Park Programs: Special Events: • Sunday June 29 will be the annual fireworks display at Lower Fishing Lake main beach. Fireworks will begin at dusk • Tuesday July 1 st everyone is welcome to join us for cake, coffee and juice at the camp hosts site number 35 in Lower Fishing Lake campground. Park Visitor Notices: Swimming lessons at Lower Fishing Lake have been cancelled this year. We apologize for any inconvenience. Special Events: • July 1 st - 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM there will be a Pancake Breakfast available at the Recreation Hall. The prices are as follows: 13 years and older- $4.00; 5-12 years $3.00; under 5 years- $1.00 • July 1 st - 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Street Culture Project will be doing face painting between The Huddle and the beach.
