Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch in Chitek Lake. 15 surrounding lakes within short driving distance<br />
with fishing as well as picnicking and camping opportunities. Species that can be caught in the<br />
surrounding area include: Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout,<br />
and Splake.<br />

Green Campsite Display – Saturday, July 5, 1- 4 PM. This model campsite gives an interesting<br />
and interactive demonstration about being more eco-friendly while you camp. Stop by the<br />
campsite, ask questions and test the green technology. Located in the picnic area beside the<br />
beach.<br />

Swimming, fishing and boating are popular pastimes in this small and quiet family park. There is a<br />
boat launch and fish filleting shelter close to the beach. Hikers, cyclists and horseback riders can<br />
access the Trans Canada Trail that runs right through the valley and into the mixed prairie<br />
