Smokey Bear will also be in attendance.<br />
Special Events:<br />
• Canada Day Parade – 11 AM, Smokey Bear, activities all day, ending with fireworks at dusk<br />
at Waskateena on July 1 st<br />
• Christmas in July Craft Show and Sale, Rec. Hall on July 5 th , 10 AM to 5 PM<br />
• Also on July 5 th Pancake Breakfast, Food Booths, Crafts, Kids Face Painting<br />
• <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> Express, Saturday, July 12 at 7 PM<br />
Park Visitor Notices:<br />
• It is finally getting warmer, and with the warmer weather, those nasty mosquitoes, horse flies and<br />
blackflies are out in full force. So if you are venturing out to Candle Lake, make sure you have<br />
bug spray with you. Baby deer are now out and about – so please be careful when driving, as<br />
they follow the mother deer wherever she goes. If venturing out on the lake, bring a warm jacket<br />
as it gets very cool towards evening.<br />
