Scheduled Park Programs:<br />
Regular summer programs begin on June 29 th . Sunday kick offs with an annual beach volleyball<br />
tournament at Kimball Lake at 1 PM. The tournament runs from 1 PM to 4 PM. Sign up your team<br />
at our Green Campsite. Also from 1 PM to 4 PM we will be having some free Kayak trials near the<br />
Kimball Lake boat launch. At 7 PM join us at Greig Lake for our special guest Smokey Bear. On<br />
June 30 th join us at Sandy Beach from 3 – 5 PM for some nature games, and try building your best<br />
sand castle. Also our green campsite will be set up, so feel free to come by and check it out. At 7<br />
PM still at Sandy Beach, join us in welcoming back Smokey Bear, as he and some special friends<br />
will do a presentation for you. July 1 st events will be held at Greig Lake. There will be birthday<br />
cake from 1-2 PM and then from 2 – 5 PM there will be a sandcastle building contest as well we<br />
will be playing some nature games. After the games are done we will be having our Canadian<br />
Trivia competition. At Greig Lake on Wednesday July 2 nd at 11 AM Mad Scientist 3pm Active in<br />
Nature, then at 7pm the Conservation Officers will be coming out and giving a talk about Bears. At<br />
Greig Lake on July 3 rd we will have Crafty Corner at 11 AM. A Nature movie at 1 PM and Star<br />
Performer at 3 PM. On July 4 th our events will be held at Kimball Lake. From<br />
3-6 PM there will be Nature games and Skulls and Scat. Followed at 7 PM by a sunset paddle to<br />
Little Raspberry Lake. Saturday July 5 th Weldon the Wacky Wizard will be in the park. At 3 PM<br />
Weldon will be at Murray Doell and at 7 PM Weldon will be at Kimball Lake.<br />
Special Events:<br />
On Saturday July 5 th at 3 PM at Murray Doell and at 7pm at Kimball Lake we have a special<br />
performer. We have coming in Weldon the Wacky Wizard. On Monday July 7 th at 7 PM at Sandy<br />
beach, Tuesday July 8 th at Murray Doell, and Friday July 11 th at Kimball Lake, we have the<br />
conservation officers coming out to give a chat about Bear Aware. Then on Saturday July 12 th at<br />
11 AM at Murray Doell and 2 PM at Sandy Beach, we have the Safe Boating booth coming out to<br />
tell everyone how to boat safely.<br />
Swimming lessons will be happening again this year. To register just show up on the first day<br />
between<br />
8 AM and 10 AM. The dates are as follows:<br />
