Duck Mountain<br />

Camping Activity: Heavy<br />

Reserve-A-Site: Heavy<br />

Fishing Activity: Good<br />

There are three lakes located in Duck Mountain that are great for fishing: Madge Lake, Batka Lake,<br />

and Jackfish Lake. Both Madge and Batka have Walleye, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch.<br />

Jackfish only has Perch. Jackfish Lake does not allow motorized boats.<br />

June 27: 9:00 PM: Adventures of the Night<br />

Come and explore the mysteries of the forest night with us and learn about nocturnal animals and<br />

their senses!! This is a quite and relaxing hike for all ages. Meet at the Boreal Forest Trailhead<br />

June 28: 7:00 PM: Smokey Bear<br />

He is here again!! Meet Smokey Bear and learn about safe fire practices.<br />

Come down to the amphitheater across from Pickerel Point Store to meet Smokey.<br />

June 29: 9:30 PM: Movie in the Park<br />

Ever wanted to watch a movie under the stars? Well now you can! Bring some munchies and a<br />

blanket, there is seating available. The movie will be at the Amphitheater across from the Pickerel<br />

Point Store and Concession.<br />

June 30: 10:00 AM: Crafty Campers<br />

Try a variety of nature crafts with your interpreters.<br />

Meet at the Amphitheater across from the Pickerel Point Store and Concession.<br />

July 1: All Events on Ministik Beach<br />

11:00 AM –1:00 PM: Sand Sculpture Contest<br />

1:00 PM – Sand Sculpture Prizes<br />

2:00 – 4:00 PM: Street Culture Project Face Painters<br />

4:00 PM: Singing of O’ Canada and Cake<br />
