This serves as an official vaccination certificate for interprovincial and international movements<br />
on condition that:<br />
1. it accompanies <strong>the</strong> animal;<br />
2. <strong>the</strong> property of origin is free from quarantine restrictions imposed for rabies control purposes;<br />
3. <strong>the</strong> certificate is signed and stamped in <strong>the</strong> space below.<br />

• All dogs and cats three months and older shall be immunised twice within a 12 month period,<br />
administered at least 30 days apart and <strong>the</strong>reafter every 3 years. Vaccination shall be carried out by<br />
an authorised person using a registered vaccine.<br />
• Puppies and kittens under <strong>the</strong> age of three months can be vaccinated, provided <strong>the</strong>y are revaccinated<br />
at three months and <strong>the</strong>n according to <strong>the</strong> above schedule.<br />
• Pregnant dogs and cats can be safely vaccinated.<br />
• For international movement, some countries require a registered veterinarian to have vaccinated <strong>the</strong><br />
animal and some stipulate annual rabies vaccinations. It is <strong>the</strong> owner’s responsibility to ascertain <strong>the</strong><br />
requirements of <strong>the</strong> importing country.<br />
