practiced 3 to 5 times a week, 40 to 60 minutes each day. But what if you do not find the time to go to class? Here is your<br />

quick guide to a daily do-at-home yoga routine. For this, we sought the knowledge of naturopath and yoga teacher Dr.<br />

Amit Negi of Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture.<br />

What are three beneficial yoga poses? And what does each one bring when practiced?<br />

Yoga has more than 72000 asana (poses). Here are three that are important for most people. Each asana should be held<br />

for 30-40 seconds.<br />

1. Seated Forward Bend Yoga Pose (Paschimottanasana): This pose is for stretching lower back and also tones the abdominal<br />

and pelvic organs.<br />
