NW 80-250 Chain clamps<br />

Two 20° tapered flanges compress a metal<br />
seal by means of chain clamp. The seals<br />
also centres the flanges at the same time.<br />
Within no time, an UHV-tight radiationresistant<br />
(not for Teflon coated chains)<br />
and antimagnetic connection is achieved.<br />
Tighten the two screws evenly in turns to<br />
achieve a perfect seal.<br />
The new 2-point support for thrust pieces<br />
(pat.) ensures more even pressing and<br />
protects the flanges. With this system,<br />
fewer links and clamping bolts are needed<br />
(up to NW 40).<br />
