a. Beacons and Destructor Assembly
The S-band beacon subsystem, whi,ch includes
the destructor channel, and the L-band beacon have
completed the scheduled IOOO-hour life test at Telerad,
Flemington, Ne,~ Jersey. Table misil summary
of significant test results.
Upon return of the S-bandbeaconto Bt!ll Alrcrait
Corporation, a design analysis will be condl.tcted on the
receiver-transmitter unit to determine the cause of
(lve repetitive failures of a 2021 tube.
b. Servo Amplifie!rs
Reliability life testuJg of the SUt repackaged
servo amplifiers has been completed at Federal
Telecommunlcation81 Laboratory. The test Iscycllcal
In nature and Is performed under a combined temperature,
vibration, and a.\Utude environment, Design
evaluation reports on this work are being analyzed at
Bell Aircraft.
c, Servo SubSystelll
A lOOO-hour life test is belng conducted on components
of the following Rascal systems. The components
are generally of GAM-63A No, 74 configuration
and are being tested in the airframe of GAM-6M N~.
