1957, Bell Ailrcraft's Type 650 magnetic-drum computer<br />
will be moved into the Center from the Advanced<br />
Analysls Laboratory. As presently planned,<br />
the Type 650 computer will be replaced during<br />
October 1957 with an IBM Type 704 magnetic-tape<br />
ComITdter.<br />
Tbe ElectrOnic Data Center will Pl'OC08S problems<br />
involving nutter analySiS, rocket engine design<br />
and combustion analysts, aeroelastic studies, traJectory<br />
studies, and reduction of test data from misBile<br />
fligbts or wind tunnel testing.<br />
b. Niagara Falls Plant<br />
Located apprOximately seven miles from Wheatfield,<br />
New York, the Niagara Falls Plant is a Bellleased<br />
facility comprising more than 165,000 square<br />
feet of floor space. PrtmarUy, this facility is used<br />
for the assembly and ",sting of electrOniC components<br />
and subsystems.<br />
