To conclude,
Making roads easier to use, self-enforcing and
more forgiving is highly cost-effective. To
achieve that we need to factor the following:
• Safety-conscious design standards
• Conduct of RSA and their implementation for
new projects / expansion projects /existing roads.
• Treatment of crash ‘black spots / hotspots’ (Lack
of authentic road crash data with proper reference
to the chainage sometimes makes it harder to
identify those spots)
